Brent K. Miller, 76, of Ammon, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was under the care of Brio Hospice.
Brent was born on August 2, 1944, in St. Anthony, Idaho to Kenneth Henry Miller and Alice Broadhead Miller. He grew up in Parker, Idaho. He graduated from South Fremont High School in 1962. He attended Ricks College and earned a degree in Automotive from Idaho State University.
On May 6, 1967, he married his one true love, Anna Christine (Chris) McCain, in Jackson, Wyoming. To this union, three daughters were born. When they were first married, they lived in Blackfoot, Idaho where Brent worked for Rockford Lumber. They moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 1976, where he became a business owner when he opened the Peppermint Parlor and then a few years later, joined the family business - Teton Boating in Grand Teton National Park.
Brent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a ward clerk and in Scouting. He loved being outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and being with his family. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chris McCain Miller of Ammon, ID; his daughters: Jill (Bryan) Lovell of Idaho Falls, ID, Carma Miller of Jackson, WY, and Robin Miller of Jackson, WY; his brother, Kirk (Jan) Miller of Eagle, ID; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Henry Miller; his mother, Alice Broadhead Miller; his brother, Russell Miller; and his nephew, Ken Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4459 John Adams Pkwy with Bishop Brian Nelson of the Ammon 26th Ward officiating. Interment will be at Aspen Hill Cemetery in Jackson, Wyoming.
