Sherry Hawkins, 77, entered into rest October 31st, 2021 at her residence.

Sherry was born in Lenoir City, TN on January 2nd, 1944 to the late Henry and Gladys Doughtry.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hawkins.

Sherry retired from K-Mart Corporation where she worked for many years. Her last position was Human Resources Manager. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church in North Augusta, SC since 1995, where she was active in her Sunday School Class. Sherry was also a member of The Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her three children, Janet Sapp (Angelo) Rufas, Terry (Pamela) Sapp, and Sandra Sapp Williams; five grandchildren, Sean McMurray, Tyler Sapp, Alexis Eddy, Victoria Rufas, and Chase Williams; eight great-grandchildren, Tyson and Daphne McMurray, Hayleigh, Paxton, and Maverick Sapp, Brantley and Beau Bernosky, and Navéa Williams. She is also survived by siblings Jerry Doughtry, Faye (Jimmy) Byrd, Brenda Jones, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
