Catha Wolaver (Taylor) Foltz, 86, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022. She was born on Sept. 25, 1935, in Frederic, Wisconsin, to Helen (Wolaver) and Ernest Taylor.
Catha graduated from Frederic High School in 1953. She married Allen Foltz on Oct. 16, 1953, in Frederic. Catha worked for many years as a housekeeper for the Frederic Nursing Home. After retiring, she worked part time at the Frederic Grocery Store as a clerk.
Catha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen; and sons, Floyd and Guy.
She is survived by her son, Wayne, of Frederic; daughter-in-law, Carolyn (Guy) Foltz; grandson, Guy Foltz Jr. and his wife Jenna; great-grandchildren, Austin and Kyla, all of Frederic; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at St. Luke Methodist Church in Frederic on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. with the service following at 11 a.m. A light lunch will be served after the services.
