Susan "Granny" E. Miles, 70 of Warrens, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Tomah Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 21, 1945 to George and Orma (Waltman) Greene in Elkhorn. Sue attended the Elkhorn High School and obtained her GED in 1976. On February 2, 1963, Sue was united in marriage to Joseph V. Miles in Lake Geneva. She worked for Lakeland Hospital as a certified nursing assistant. In 1978, Sue and Joe relocated to the Warrens area. She worked for several years at Rolling Hills, a short time at the VA Medical Center and later at Les's Merry Go Round as a Bartender. She also worked at Fort McCoy at the State Patrol Academy as a housekeeper, until her retirement. Sue had an enormous loving and giving heart. Along with raising her family, she always had room to lend a helping hand to others. Sue was affectionately known to many as "Granny." She volunteered countless hours at the Millston-Knapp Sportsman Club Along with volunteering at the sportsman club, in her spare time; she enjoyed bowling and loved to play the accordion.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joe of Warrens, 4 children, Wayne (Tracy) Miles of Warrens, Dean (Julie) Miles of Beaver Dam, Pam (Keith) Randall of Warrens, and Patti Miles of Tomah, 12 grandchildren, Josh Randall, Kaylee Miles, Micheal Randall, Justin (Lisa) Randall, Tony (Marissa) Miles, Daniel (fiancé Elli) Randall, Cody (Kayla) Schaub, Conner Miles, Cassi (Eric) Schaub, Cody Toman, Nicholas (Nacole)Toman, Dakota Toman,and Allen Randall, numerous great grandchildren, a sister Patsy Kremple of Crystal Lake, IL, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim (Carolyn) Miles of Elkhorn, Jean Loback of Delevan, Robert (Kay) Miles of Whitewater and Frank (Gennie) Miles of Dolphin, FL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Greene, 2 brothers-in-law, Lynn Kremple and Selmar Loback and a sister-in-law, Joyce Glieter.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, 2:00 P.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Pastor Robert Streeter will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
