Johnny Joe Kent, 68, of Mooresville died March 4, 2017. He was born on April 26, 1948 in McDowell County, NC to Ella Agnes Hughes Kent and the late William Lewis Kent, Sr. He worked as a salesperson in textiles. He was an avid Wolfpack Fan.
Survivors include his wife Laura Query Kent; daughters, Angela Purcell of Cary, NC and Alyson Kent of Mooresville; siblings, Randy and Sammy Kent. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill.
The memorial service will be held at 3PM Saturday, March 11 in the chapel of James Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Felts officiating. Please wear your Wolfpack Red and White! A reception will follow in the James Funeral Home Community Room.
