In 1880 census she lived with her son William Nathan Blodgett and his wife Eunice.
In 1887 this was in the news "Mrs. Sarah Blodgett has sold her farm in Tainter and moved to this town [Hay River], where she will spend the evening of a long and useful life with her daughter, Mrs. Cushion" [Adeline Blodgett Cushing]
She died 4 Mar 1897 in Boyceville Village, Tiffany Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin.
Believed to be buried next to her husband Roswell Post Blodgett in Lot 32 of Sherman Cemetery.
(Don't mix up with Sarah Burroughs Blodgett, wife of Nelson. That Sarah lived in Portage County and is buried at Stevens Point in the Episcopal Cemetery. She died May 1897)
