She retired from the city of Hodgenville after many years of service.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Forbis; her parents, William and Katherine Perkins Fancher and 14 brothers and sisters, Vera Crain, Mary Ida Ferren, Carlos Fancher, Leslie Fancher, Robert Fancher, Lily Fancher, Berdie Taylor, George Mouser, Lucy Greer, Alice Perkins, Ben Fancher, Harrison Fancher, Lewis Fancher and Hascle Fancher.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Patty) Forbis of Munfordville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. (EST), Tuesday, August 30, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Gary Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. (EST) Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
