Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Aaron "Casey" Kent, 35, of Calhoun, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Greg Clark and Dr. Jarrett Fix officiating. Interment will follow in the Enterprise Church Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Casey was born on May 16, 1987, and passed away on August 30, 2022. He loved being with his family especially his children. He grew up attending First Baptist Church in Calhoun, LA and then became a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, serving on the Deacon Council at the church. Casey worked as a Supervisor for Atmos Energy for 12 years. He loved Roping, 4- wheeler riding, playing his trumpet ( also played in a Jazz Band while attending ULM), hunting, fishing, and doing the Daddy Thing. Casey is preceded in death by his grandmother, Norma Sue Kent and by his uncles, Jack Kent, Jr. and Jeffrey Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica Wheeler Kent; children, Abbie, Hayden, Alyssa, Owen, Maddie and Callie; parents, Jay and Dianne Kent; sisters, Emily Kent Still (Rusty) and Katie Kent (fiancé, Tyler Owens); grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Blackstock and Jack Kent Sr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Lisa Wheeler; brothers-in-law, Jason Wheeler (Frankie) and Jordan Wheeler (fiancé, Baylie); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Wheeler, Jordan Wheeler, Bryant Fox, Zach Bridges, Tyler Owens, Rusty Still, Clay Blackstock, and Bodie Blackstock.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Cedar Crest Baptist Church.
