JANET MCDONALD OBITUARY
McDonald, Janet 10/26/1938 - 9/9/2020 Dexter Janet Lee McDonald, aged 81, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday September 9, 2020. Janet is survived by five sons Harold III "Marty" (Melissa) of Mulberry, FL; Mike of Dexter, MI; Mark (Sue) of Pinckney, MI; Paul (Laurie) of Midlothian, TX; and Andrew (Kathy) of Scottsdale, AZ; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers Fred (Mary) Osterman of Parker, CO and Steve Osterman Canton, GA, plus two former Daughters-in-Law Peggy McDonald of Bartow FL and Sue Wilson of Chelsea, MI. Jan is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harold "Skip" McDonald Jr., her parents Rudy and Thelma Osterman, her brother Gary Osterman, and Sister-in-Law Linda Osterman. Jan was born in 1938 and raised in Flint, MI. She was a proud wife of a Vietnam Veteran, who served 20 years' service in the US Air Force. Her passions included time with her family and friends, Traveling, Reading, Canoeing and Dancing. Skip and Jan owned Michigan Model Train Center and were the founders of Skip's Huron River Canoe Livery at Delhi Metro Park. A private Celebration of Life was held Saturday September 26. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research. Hosmer Muehlig Funeral Chapel
