Roy M. Kaylor, 84, a long-time resident of Manson, died Thursday following and extended illness.
Mr. Kaylor was born Oct. 2, 1900, at Hadley, Ill., and spent his early years there. In 1918, he moved with his family to Manson. He began employment with the Lake Chelan Reclamation District in 1924 which ended with his retirement in 1969. On Nov. 13, 1934, he was married to Anne Eichelberg at Ritzville.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anne of the home; two daughters; Linda Bollen, of Kirkland; Doreen Kaylor, of Seattle; three sisters; Elva West, of E. Wenatchee; Wilma Kelly, of gig Harbor; Ina Anrys, of Forks; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Services were conducted Monday at 2 pm from Manson United Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Stout officiating. Committal services and interment followed at Fraternal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research, c/o University of Washington or American Cancer Society.
Services are under direction of Precht Rose Chapel.
