Troy Wilson Latham, Jr. 80, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Friday September 02, 2022 at his home after an extended illness.

Born on August 14, 1942, in Sevierville, TN, he was son of the late Troy Latham, Sr. and Johnnie Louise Flynn. He was predeceased by his brother Jerry and two infant brothers.

Troy worked for IGA supplying groceries to stores in five states. After moving to NC, he was employed by Citgo and Texaco for many years. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. He loved southern gospel and bluegrass music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed traveling abroad, but mostly spending time with his special daughter Lisa.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vicki Capell Latham, a son Brian Lee Latham (Christie); a daughter Lisa Latham of Knoxville, TN; a step daughter Angelica McKee (Mike), two grandsons; Justin Latham (Jamie) and Brandon Latham, three step grandsons; Jacob and Eli Wade and Alan Foti, one step granddaughter; Josie Wade, two great grandchildren; Whitney and Barrett, who was born on his 80thbirthday, a sister; Christine Parker (Larry), his aunt; Edith Lawson and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held, Tuesday September 06, 2022 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, TN. Burial will be at Knob Creek Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
