Bryce Morgan Scoffield, 82, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022, in Bountiful, Utah, after spending precious time surrounded by those he loved.

Bryce was born September 15, 1939, in Layton, Utah, to George Merrill Scoffield, and Mary Ellen Morgan Scoffield. Bryce was the youngest of 6 children.

Bryce served in the Air Force for 3 years. He later went on to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Weber State University. Bryce worked as a social worker for many years, and later worked many types of jobs, including owning his own company.

Bryce enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, and tennis.

Bryce married Myrna Tracy Scoffield in October of 1956, and they later divorced. Bryce is survived by his daughter Laura Scoffield, and son Brett and Billie Jo Scoffield and their two children Maggie Jo Scoffield and Barrett Scoffield.

Bryce married Veda Rae Newton Scoffield in March of 1987. Veda passed away on February 22, 2021. Bryce is survived by his step-children Kenny and Vickie Whiting, Kerry and Cecy Whiting (Carlos Carmona, Noemi Carmona, Chase and Lindsay Whiting, Crissa and Dustin Peterson, Kaden Whiting, and Diego Carmona), Korby and Maria Whiting (Kamille Whiting, Estefany Whiting, and Kole Whiting), Kandus and Brian Bell (Jordan Bryson and MacKenzie McGrath, Shandee and Kory Davis, Ashlee Bryson, Jaidee Bryson, and Macklee Bryson), and great-grandchildren Kellon Whiting, Kaizlee Whiting, Evelyn Whiting, Cloud Whiting, Kaysten Peterson, Jextyn Peterson, Brexlee Peterson, Ryder Bryson, Axel Bryson, Riot McGrath, Willow Bryson, Pyper Bryson, Baylee Bryson and Waydon Bryson.

Bryce is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary, his siblings, Phil, Pat, Nate, and Cal.

Bryce is survived by his sister Meryln Scott.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Mona Second Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 65 E 100 N, Mona, to be followed by a graveside service at the Mona Cemetery, located on Cemetery Road, Mona, Utah.
