Services for Travis S. Moody, 72, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dickson Baptist Church with the Rev. Lin McNatt and the Rev. John Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Born May 26, 1928, at Temple to the late James and Pearl Taylor Moody, he died Feb. 8, 2001, at a local nursing facility. He married Mary Tulloss Aug. 21, 1951, at Chickasha. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Neal Moody; and a sister, Jean Farrell.

Moody was a newspaper printer having worked for the Chickasha, Norman and Ardmore papers. He worked for the Goddard Ranch and had also worked for Plainview Schools. He moved from Chickasha in 1961.

Survivors include his daughter, Marsha Walker and her husband, Jimmy, Gene Autry; a brother, Kenneth Moody, Bethany; a sister, Lois White, Norman; four grandchildren, Jimmy and LeAnn Walker, Bobbie Coffman and Crystal Bettis; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Bettis.

Bearers are Bill Brown, Sonny Gibson, Joe Dutton, Louis Thompson, Don Kendrick and Carl Buchanan.

Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
