Ruth Shelton Adkins, of Russellville passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022.
Ruth was a devoted Christian and a member of North Highlands Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was Homecoming Queen, Drum Majorette, and Class Valedictorian of Russellville High School Class of 1958.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Adkins; her parents, Gilbert and Ludie Shelton; brothers, Ranny Hutchins and Grover Hutchins; sisters: Edna Teague, Faye Magino, and Jewell Swindel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10 am-12 noon in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12 noon.
