Dorothy spent her life being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. These titles were her full time job through the years, 24/7. Despite her very large family, Dorothy always found time for everyone, providing love and support to all and also a scolding, if needed. We learned many life lessons taught and passed on, especially at Sunday dinners at Grandma's! Her sense of humor and love of balloons brightened all of our lives, always finding special time for all of the children as she was still child like herself.
If you are looking for Dorothy Leonard, you can find a piece of her loving, kind, patient, thoughtful, and compassionate soul in those she lived her life for, her family. Together we grew, we learned, we played, we laughed, we cried, we live, and we love. We thank you. We appreciate you. We love you so very much. We will carry on your memory with all the pieces you filled in our hearts.
If there was anything you ever needed, it was in her back pocket!
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Francis X. Leonard, Jr., 6 children, Kathleen Leonard, Lorraine and Guy Scott, Francis Leonard III and Stephanie Darling, Dennis and Carol (Emerich) Leonard, Janet Leonard and John Hoover, and Elaine and Michael Griffin, 12 grandchildren, Raymond and Cheryl (Hunsberger) Leonard, Michael and Kristina (Evanitsky) Leonard, Jason Dufton and Kelia Mason, Shalene (Dufton) and Jason Mack, Tia Scott and Hugo Portorreal, Richelle Dufton, Tiffany Scott, Cole Dufton, Arianna Griffin, Anton Leonard, Nicholas Leonard, and Brooklyn Griffin, and 14 great grandchildren, Ray Jr., Gavin, Conner, Holden, Chase, Harper, Logan, Katelyn, Ella, Cason, Sawyer, Evan, Hudson, and Cade.
