He was a member of Old Bethel Baptist church as a child, where he was ordained as a deacon. He later attended God Is Baptist Church.
George married Allie Lavern Harris in 1999; 1965 Katie Glenn and from that union 5 children.
He was an entrepreneur and he owned and operated Hall"s Trucking.
George was preceded in death by his parents; sons, George Wayne Hall, Jr., Willie Hall; twin boy and girl; five sisters, Regina Hall, Farrie Ratcliff, Sharon Smith, Melvia Hawkins, Carolyn Guice; two brothers, Ivory Guice and Robert Guice.
