He was born February 17, 1909 in Hennepin, Oklahoma, where he grew to manhood. His marriage to Evelyn Wright took place March 14, 1936, in Purnell, Oklahoma. The family came to Manson in February of 1946.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Evelyn; five sons, Earl of Chelan, Kenneth of Wenatchee, Joe serving in the US Army in Germany, Clifford and Donny of the home; two daughters, Mrs. William Palmer of Wenatchee and Mrs. Ernest Senseney of Manson; three brothers, Lonnie, Garland and Lindsey of Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Farris, Mrs. Ethel Martin and Mrs. Ruth Rankin, Oklahoma and two grandchildren.
Services are being held today.
