Carol L. Myers-Jones departed this life on Monday August 29, 2022 at the age of 86 years old while residing in the Good Shepherd Nursing home in Lockwood, Mo. Carol was born October 1, 1935 on Tuff Street in South Greenfield, Mo to Charley and Cora Sparks-Myers. Carol was one of seven children. She had so many fond memories of her childhood especially with her sister, Patsy, cousins Barbara, Bonnie and Sue Etta. Carol attended South Greenfield Baptist church where she was saved and then baptized in Limestone Creek. After she was married, she moved her membership to Antioch Christian Church where she remained a member until her death.
A celebration of life will be held Monday evening, September 5th, at the Main Street Baptist Church, Greenfield, MO. Visitation from 5-6 with a small service to follow. The family will host a private burial at Antioch Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Antioch Cemetery, 730 S. Dade 197, Everton, MO 65646. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
