They loved camping and spent many years on the campground, riding around in their golf cart. They also enjoyed going on motorcycle rides. Marshall and Joyce took many missionary trips to Africa and several other countries, but Africa was his favorite. Later in life, Marshall became a golfer and could be at Harrison Park every day. He enjoyed hacking golf balls after playing a round of golf. He was a great wood worker; he made golf tee games and gave them to friends and family. He took pride in making sure the mayor and presidents had them as well. Marshall eventually found his true love, skydiving. He absolutely loved it and wanted to jump one more time after the doctor told him no. Marshall truly enjoyed his friends and family and would do anything possible to help them. He was a member of First Nazarene Church, he loved his church family and never missed services if he could help it.

Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
