COGHLAN.—On the 25th of October, at her son William's residence, "Merri River," Catherine, relict of the late Wm. Coghlan, both natives of Co. Limerick, and dearly beloved mother of Thomas, Michael, John, and William, and also Mrs. Colton, Mrs, W. Tinton, and Mrs. M. Haughey, in her 107th year. A colonist of over 69 years, and resident of Warrnambool for 55 years.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on her; Mary and Joseph, pray for her.

The deceased left a very large number of grandchildren and great-grandchiIdren and was respected and beloved by a very large circle of relative and friends. The late Mr. and Mrs. Coghlan came to Sydney in 1838 and came on to Melbourne the first week in January 1839 and after a residence of over four years, when Melbourne was bankrupt, they left for the Western District and were farming near Port Fairy for nearly 10 years, when they came Warrnambool in 1852 and lived on their farm until her death.
Her husband lived to be nearly 100, and her brother, the late Mr. James Walsh, of Purnim, was 102,
so the brother, sister, and husband's united ages were 308 years. She was interred in the Tower Hill Cemetery on Sunday last, followed by a very large cortege of mourners.
