Cassandra Polk, 64, passed away on September 13, 2021.

She was born on January 5, 1957 in Moscow, Arkansas.

Cassandra accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Her favorite scripture was 1 John 4:4 "Greater then he in me, then he who is in the world" and her favorite prayer was Serenity Prayer "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."

She attended Vaster High School in Moscow, Arkansas. She was a devoted mom that loved cooking, fishing, talking to her children daily and being on the prayer line nightly. Cassandra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was very active in church as a door greeter and was always so kind and giving. Outside of being a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, she always unselfishly helped better the lives of people she loved and sometimes strangers. She was passionate about expressing random acts of kindness.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her father, Charles Brewer.

She is survived by her daughter, Le'Tosha Lewis (Bryan); her sons, Ryan Polk (Melonie) and Lawrence Andrew Polk; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her mother, Louise Paden-Reid; her sister, Pamela Reid; and her brothers: Robert Jones, Carl Jordan, and Herman Reid III (Kathy).

The funeral services will be held in Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR with Pastor Eric Alexander officiating. The internment services will be held at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
