George Blakely Lair was the son of William Ross Lair & Mary Thurman Blakely Lair.

I haven't been able to find William Ross (1836-1929) and Mary (1840-1907) in the 1900 census.

In 1910 he is living in Mirabel, Missouri with his daughter Clara Andes.

In 1915 KS State census he is in Pleasant View, Cherokee county, Kansas.

William Ross (1836-1929) died and was buried in McDonald county, MO in Mitchell cemetery.

He married Mary Thurman Blackley. She was first married to William Blackley in 1858. She had 3 children by Blackley: Mary 1858, John W 1860 and Albert 1863.
