FULTON - Shawn Wayne Evans, 50, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born May 26, 1972, in Murfreesboro, Illinois, and spent the majority of his life in Fulton. He was a truck driver and a jack-of-all-trades who could fix or rig anything set before him.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, at the Plainview Church of Christ with Minister Tom House officiating.  McNeece-Morris Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Tina Strange Evans, of Fulton; four children, Shane Evans (Abby), Shannon Evans (Macy), Alex Franks (Nichole), and Allison Franks; and two grandchildren, Riley and Willa.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sharon Kay and Sammy Painter; his father, Wayne Evans; one sister, Shelia Moore; and one brother, Timothy Evans.

The family will receive visitors at the church before and after the memorial service on Saturday at Plainview Church of Christ.
