Esther I. Hastings, 84, Chelan, died Monday evening at a local hospital.
She was born on April 22, 1891, at Emerado, N. D., and spent her early life there. She married Alf Hastings in Minn., in 1909. He died in 1962.
For several years she lived in Grand Forks, N. D., until 1942 when she moved to Everett. She came to Chelan in 1945.
Surviving are a daughter, Clara Kerr, Chelan; a son, Ralph Hastings, Vancouver,; two brothers, Frank Brunk, East Grand Forks, Minn., and Milton Brunk, Calif.; nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Besides her husband, two sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
