Brenda Kay Starr, 79, of Brownstown, peacefully passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Hoosier Christian Village. She was born in Lawrence County, IN on May 12, 1942, to the late John C. & Sylvia Flynn Starr.
Brenda was so special to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and the caretakers at the Hoosier Christian Village.
Brenda's survivors include her brothers, Mike & Ronnie Starr both of Medora, & Scott Starr of Sellersburg, who was a nephew but like a brother; sisters, Arlene Starr Forrest of Clearspring, Rae Ann Starr Sherrill & Shelia J. Starr Cheek both of Norman; several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James E. & Johnnie W. Starr, sisters, Virginia J. Starr, Betty T. Starr Hamilton, Mary G. Starr Abel & Francis E. Cole.
A private family service will be held Friday, July 9, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Pinhook Cemetery, Bedford, IN.
