Enos was born Dec. 17, 1817 in Pulaski Co., KY, the son of Peter and Elizabeth Moore Tarter.
Enos married Sarah Jane Dalton on Mar. 16, 1839 in Pulaski Co., KY. Sarah (July 18, 1820-Nov. 15, 1905) was the daughter of George Dalton. She and Enos had 13 children. That is all I know about Sarah. Enos sold his KY property in 1873 and moved with some of his children to Clinton, MO, moving from there to Cherokee Co., Kans., where he died Aug. 26, 1885.

In 1873, Enos sold his land in Pulaski County and moved to Missouri with some of his children.
In 1884, he sold his land in Clinton County, Missouri.
Enos appears in the 1840 and 1850 censuses for Pulaski County, Kentucky.
Enos supposedly moved to Clinton County, Missouri about 1873, and to Cherokee County, Kansas about 1884.
