Funeral services for Petty Sue (Goodsell-Gimlin) Bishop, 60, were held Saturday,Jan. 26, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Salem General Baptist Church with Ron Pinckney and Don Yarger officiating. Burial was in Rhodes Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. She was born Sept. 25, 1947, the daughter of Francis and Faye (Chapman) Goodsell. She and W. Gary Gimlin were married in 1965. She married Kenneth Bishop Jan. 29, 1989.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by one daughter, Tisha Lynn (Gimlin) Cooper and her husband, Alan; one granddaughter, Brittney Cooper; her mother, Faye Goodsell; one sister, Von Kellet; and three brothers, John Goodsell, Don Goodsell and Richard Goodsell.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, W. Gary Gimlin in 1973, and her father, Francis Goodsell in 2002.
