SPOKANE – Zola V. Fleming Lady, 68, Spokane, formerly of Chelan, died Monday in Spokane.
She was born May 23, 1912, near Valley, and married R. Clayton Fleming in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1966.
The Flemings operated an orchard and also for 10 years, beginning in 1956, they operated the Apple Cup Café at Chelan.
She had been a member of the Chelan Eagles Auxiliary and the Chelan Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Curtis Fleming, Spokane; three daughters, Arita Ballinger of Soap Lake, Bettie Ward of Chelan, and Ethel Beaman of Union Gap; one brother, Clifford Halfhill, Tacoma; one sister, Annabelle Gault, East Wenatchee; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, Spokane, is in charge of arrangements
