Pamela Jean Dunn, 54, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at her home in Sapulpa, OK after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born April 6, 1957 in Sapulpa to Bill Wade and Rosemary Wade Clark, Pam graduated from Sapulpa High in 1975 and attended business school. Pam's work career included Riley Southwest, Standard Distributing, and finally, the Creek County Sheriff's Office where, upon learning of Pam's passing, Sheriff Steve Tolliver commented that "she was my right hand". Pam's life passion was her family. She was a fixture at Sapulpa athletic events for the better part to two decades, watching her beloved son's compete. Pam is preceded in death by her stepfather Bill Clark, Grandparents, Ralph and Iris Marshall, Homer and Margaret Wade, as well as her husband, Robert (Bo) Dunn. The universal agreement among all of Pam's survivors is what a picture of courage, grace, and sheer determination Pam had been as she fought her valiant seven year battle with the disease that ultimately took her from us. A celebration of Pam's life will be held Wednesday, April 13that the First Presbyterian Church, at 11:00am. Officiating will be Pastor Craig Gibson.
