Obituary

Ken Deeg Jr.

Passed away peacefully, passionately telling those around him about the glory of Heaven, on October 28, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents Ken Sr. and Penny Deeg. Survived by his loving family, wife and companion of 41 years, Lynn Hirschey, daughter Angie Bullock (Mike), sister Kitty Johnson (Steve), Grandson Zach, nieces and nephews. After a four-year tour of duty in the US Navy, Ken's unstoppable work ethic led him from the loading dock to the Vice Presidency of Anchor Paper, where he performed his duties diligently until he retired. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, father-in-law and friend, Ken was also dedicated to Eagle Brook Church, where he served on the weekends for the past 15 years. Charming, witty and full of love, Ken was always quick with a joke and possessed a keen intellect guided by his unstoppable faith. Those who knew him often commented on his friendly smile. He found joy in the Church, woodworking, playing golf and most importantly his loved ones. His legacy lives on through his family, countless friends, and all those he impacted over the years. Visitation and Memorial services begin at 10am on November 12th, 2021 at Eagle Brook Church, 7775 20th Ave N, Lino Lakes, MN 55038. Internment at Amery Cemetery.
