Tammy Dean Golden Gant, 47, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born July 9, 1975, in Alhambra, California, to Jerry and Carol J. Cora Golden.

Tammy attended Jackson High School. She was employed at Jackson Manor Nursing Home and West Park Mall.

Tammy liked scouting local thrift stores for unique items. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Loving survivors include four children, Tanelle, Jackie, and Jaeda Golden and Lashon Bell, all of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Kyler, Keyden, Ava, Jacquarion, Miyah, Kamaree, Zilah, and Cayden; a brother, Greg Cotner of Jackson; a sister, Laura (Bill) Moore of New Wells; two half-siblings, Jerry (Leslie) Golden and Michele (Dan) Klein; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jeff Cotner.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
