Allison Nicole "Nikki" Orvin, 28, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in Hazlehurst. Allison Orvin was born May 24, 1979 in Bacon County and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was seeking a degree in Pharmacy Technician at South Eastern Tech. Ms. Orvin is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leroy "Doc" and Beatrice Orvin; grandfather, Acy Bryant; and nieces, Samantha and Caitlyn Orvin.
Survivors include two sons, Gabriel Mark Bamberg and Elijah Scott Bamburg, both of Hazlehurst; mother, Rita Orvin; father, Gary Orvin; brother, Rick Orvin, all of Baxley; and maternal grandparents, Donald and Phyllis Williams of Baxley.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Cabaniss, Bishop Dana Taylor and Ray Hester. Interment followed at Appling Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Dillon Bryant, Ron Smith, Stanley Allen, Steven Allen, Adam Bryant and Dusty Lee.
Honorary pallbearers were the graduating class of 1997.
Musical selections were rendered by Floyd Hunter, Jerry Tomberlin and Stephanie Allen.
