Mrs. Martha Westbrook Brownell, widow of John Brownell died at South Warsaw on February 22nd. She was born in Perry on February 18, 1853, the daughter of Mary Moody and Horace Westbrook. The funeral was held from her late home at 3:30 p.m. on Monday February 25th with the Rev. Wm. Blankley, pastor of the Baptist church of Castile officiating. The burial was in the Warsaw cemetery. Mrs. Brownell is survived by 2 sons, Parker Brownell of Silver Springs, Albert Brownell of Warsaw and 1 daughter, Mrs. Emily Jamison of Rochester, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. Mrs. Brownell was a member of the South Warsaw W.C.T.U.
