Charles Wesley Williams, of Shallotte, passed away, Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. He was born in Brunswick County, June 13, 1946, the son of the late Charles Zadie and Ruth Pigott Williams. He is preceded in death by three brothers, James Hearth Williams, William Henderson Williams, and Legwin Willie Williams. Charles attended the First Baptist Church of Shallotte.
Charles was a former police officer with the Shallotte Police Department, Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, and the Bladensboro Police Department. Charles is a veteran of the Army National Guard.
