Early Settler, Age 76, Had Lived on Homestead Near Garrison 46 Years
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Scott, an early settler passéd away at her home 1 1/2 miles north of Garrison, Monday August 8.
Mrs. Scott was 76 years of age and had lived on a homestead for 46 years. Surviving her besides her husband are seven children, four girls and three boys. Mrs. Allie Dinwidie, Mrs. Elizabeth Hill, Mrs. Ida Knowlen, Mrs. Myra Elmore, and Hiram, Thomas and Albert Scott, all living at Garrison.
Twenty-two grandchildren remain and three sisters, Mrs. J.H. Dickenson, Mrs. Elsie McCalvey of Garrison, Mrs. Robert Maghan of Bay Lake and a brother Jacob Miller of Brainerd.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
