CHERAW — Mr James William Morris Jr., 46, died January 2, 2002. He died 6:50 p.m. in the winter storm when he was hit by a tractor-trailer after stopping to help a disabled driver in Anson County.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday January 5 2002 at Westfield Creek Baptist Church Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr Morris was born in Cheraw SC a son of
James William Morris Sr (1925-1994)
Mary Leona Brock Morris of Cheraw SC

He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was employed with Bonsai as a mechanic.

Mr Morris was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church and was currently attending Brown Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife Sylvia White Morris
