Thomas Ray Wallace, a long time resident of Sterling Heights, was received into the loving arms of Jesus and his loving wife, Frances in Heaven with the angels. He was 88 years of age.

Thomas was born in Birmingham Alabama on November 29,1933, the son of the late Ernest Cornelius and Myrtle Wallace. He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict in the U.S.Army. Tom was united in marriage to his loving wife, Frances Stewart on July 23, 1954 in Tupelo, Mississippi. The couple made their first home in Detroit moving to Sterling Heights in 1969. Tom worked for the Copper & Brass Co. of Detroit in the Shipping and Receiving as well as many other responsibilities that included being the Union Rep for the Teamsters from 1953 til retirement in 1965. Tom loved to play the Stock Market, football (especially the Alabama and Auburn College teams). He loved Animal Videos, Classical Music, Opera, Helping Others, and caring for his loving wife. Thomas was a delegate of the Republican Party and had been invited to many black tie events including Inaugural Balls. He was known as very organized person who wanted things done his way and was always stirring the pot. He loved playing Rummy with the grand kids and setting an example. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances on August 13, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18 at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser from 1pm till time of service at 5pm. A life celebration will be celebrated immediately following the service at Infinity Hall and Side Bar Restaurant of Fraser. A Family burial will be held on Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery.Service: 02/19/2022
