Joyce Scott (Rapp), passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. Joyce was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 17, 1927, daughter of the late Fred and Ilah Rapp.

Married Robert Scott Sr. on January 11, 1947, lasting 74 years. Retired from Central Furniture after 30 years. Joyce was the longest standing member of the Milwood United Methodist Church, even while living in Florida for 20 years. This was something that she took great pride in.

Joyce is survived by her faithful, loving husband Robert Sr.; son, Robert Scott, Jr. (Pamela); daughter, Marcia Shrauger, (James, deceased). She has 4 grandchildren, Michael Scott, Scott Shrauger (Tomi Jo), Greg Thompson (Marjory), and Kelly Scott; 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, (Judy Rapp); 2 great great grandchildren; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Rapp; son in law, James Shrauger; and a nephew.

The family wishes to thank the staff at The Gardens of Bronson Fountains and the Visiting Nurses.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

In accordance with the family's wishes a memorial service will be held at Milwood Methodist Church, 3919 Portage Street, Kalamazoo on Saturday, January 8, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
