MILLER, Shirley A. – Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

Shirley was born in Goodrich, Michigan on June 23, 1936, the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Lowes) Gardner.

She was a graduate of Flint Central, Class of 54 and Flint Junior College Class of 56.

On October 5, 1957 she married Richard "Dick" Miller at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Flint.

She was a devoted mother and wife, who raised 3 children. She volunteered at Hurley Gift Shop, went to Hurley Health and Fitness and U of M Flint Rec Center. She biked thru France, Scotland and the Netherlands. She enjoyed traveling with the Nomads. She was active with the Flint Central Class of 54 alumni group.

She was preceded in death by her son, David, in 1971 and her brother, Robert and his wife Agnes in 2017.
