Engraving on Malinda's stone informs she died on March 2, 1875 at age "35 years 9 months 18 days," which places her birth in 1839. Census records, however, document her as age 14 in 1850 which, if accurate, places her birth about 1836. Because of discrepancies, no date of birth is included for her at this site.
