The deceased was born Oct. 3, 1914, in Chelan, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Carpenter. For the past two years she has lived in Seattle, where she was stricken with the flu, passing away Sunday night, May 12.
Those left to mourn her passing are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Carpenter; one brother, Elton; two half sisters, Mrs. Leah Carpenter and Mrs. Ernest Davis; three half brothers, Clayton and Harvey Carpenter and Alf Knowles, together with a grandmother, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
