Funeral services for Mrs. Nora M. Hardy were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 1969, in the Loraine Christian Church under the direction of Tanner-Underwood. The officiating minister was Rev. Robert Grundhafer. Lloyd Harms was the singer and Mrs. R. H. Underwood was at the organ. Pallbearers were Walter Spicer, Carl Pittman, Cecil Trautvetter, Russell Tribbett, Mike Sill and Frank Shriver. Burial was in Loraine Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy, 90, died Friday, June 27, at 4:20 p.m. in St. Mary Hospital in Quincy. She had been a resident of Loraine until three years ago when she became a resident of the Sunset Home in Quincy.
A daughter of Darius K. and Della Buckingham Calkins, she was born December 5, 1878, in Burton Township.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
She was married May 6, 1915, in Quincy to Presley Hardy who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Laverne (Susana) Stoneking of Warsaw; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Two sons, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
