Stanley W. Foss, 92, died Wednesday at Carson Tahoe Hospital.
A native of Kensett. lowa, he was born July 25, 1899, and had been a Carson City resident for the past year, coming from Portland. Ore. Foss was a retired plywood mill operator and a member of Rotary International in Minnesota. His wife, Imbie Marie, died in 1983. He also was preceded in death by a son, Stanley. Surviving are a daughter Beth McAuliffe, of Carson City, a sister, Ruth Gardner, of Bakerfield, Calif., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren No funeral is scheduled Cremation will be at Walton's
