Sidner.
Mrs. Mary Sidner, widow of the late Noah Sidner, died Saturday, July 16th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Murphy, in Troy, Mo. Her remains were brought here to the home of George Bedwell, where funeral services were held yesterday morning by Rev. J. H. Wood. Mrs. Sidner was no kin to the Bedwells, yet Mrs. Bedwell and her sister, Mrs. C. K. Dickerson, always called her "aunt" being very fond of her. Her remains were laid beside those of her husband in the city cemetery. He died about 25 years ago.
Deceased was the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Rees Davis and was born in Paris, Mo., July 12, 1831. She was married to Noah Sidner in June, 1852. She had eleven children, among then are Frank D. of Kansas, William and George, of Monroe City, Dr. Clay V. of Brookfield, and Mrs. F. A. Murphy of Troy. Twenty-two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren are among her descendants. She united with the Christian church and with her husband was baptized near Paris in 1853.
In 1879 Mrs. Sidner lived on the Cleek farm near Shelbina and moved from it to St. Louis where he ran a feed and sales barn, — Shelbina Democrat.

Death of Mrs. Noah Sidener.
Mrs. Noah Sidener died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Murphy, in Troy, Missouri, Saturday, July 16. The remains were brought here Tuesday and buried beside her husband, after funeral services from the home of George Bedwell, conducted by Rev. J. H. Wood.
Deceased was a daughter of Judge Reice Davis, of Monroe county, and was born in Paris July 12, 1831. She was married to Noah A. Sidener in June 1852. Eleven children were born of the marriage. The following survive: James A., of Canada, Frank D., of Kansas, William and George of Monroe county. Dr. C. V. Sidener, of Brookfield, and the above mentioned daughter, Mrs. Frank Murphy, of Troy, Mo. She leaves twenty-two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The husband died in 1885. They were known by many of our older residents, as they lived near here several years. In 1880 and '81, they resided on the T. J. Cleek farm, near Hale School house, now owned by Mr. Bunney, and in 1883 on the place west of town now owned by Jas. Douglass.
