Born in Portersville, May 26, 1876, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Mollie Brandon Patterson. She had resided for many years in Beaver falls.
Mrs. Long was a charter member and the oldest member of the College Hill UP Church.
Surviving are three sons: George V., Beaver Falls; James C. P. of Annandale, Va.; Jack W. of Walnut Creek, California; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph D. (Margaret) Williams, Patterson Hgts., Beaver Falls; Mrs. Carl (Mary) Malone, Hyattsville, Md.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Claire V. Patterson, Toledo, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the J. Orville Scott Funeral Home, Beaver Falls, today.
Services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Thomas Tuft in charge. Interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
