Wilson Francis Hebert, 77, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Cornerstone South. Interment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Maurice.

Mr. Hebert, the son of the late John Hebert and the former Beulah Hebert was a native of Port Barre and a resident of Lafayette.

He was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. Army. He retired from The Superior Oil Company/Mobil Oil after 37 years. He loved family, running his crawfish pond, and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Hebert; one daughter, Donna Guidry of Thibodaux, LA; three sons, Anthony Hebert of Lake Arthur, LA, David Hebert of Grand Coteau, LA, and Alvin Hebert of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Brian Hebert, Dathan Guidry, Brandi Cart, Alexis Hebert, and Nicholas Hebert; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy Hebert, Kaileigh Cart, Justice Guidry, and Kyler Cart; six sisters; and one brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Beulah Hebert; and four brothers.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 200 Chief H. Fred Avenue, Maurice is in charge of funeral arrangements.
