Justin Alan Hart, 49, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away July 20, 2022. Justin was born June 26, 1973 in Louisville, KY to his parents Johnny V. and Laura A. Hart.

Justin was preceded in death by two grandparents, A. Joyce (Dale) Nelson, Ishmael C. Dennison, and an uncle, Jerry Daniel Hart.

He is survived by his only child, Brittany (Lorenzo) Johnson. Four grandchildren, Lorenzo Lamar, Jr., Nyomi Rose, Natalia Faith, and Carmen Rylee Johnson; Parents Johnny and Laura Hart; Two siblings, Jason Lee (Kimberley) Hart, Ginger Michelle (Dean) Germain; Grandparents, Johnny and Carolyn Hart; Step Grandmother, Goldie Dennison; Uncle, Danny (Nora) Dennison, Darryl Hart; Aunt, Cheryl Harrington; Two nephews, Noah and Wyatt Germain and a host of other family members and friends.

After Justin graduated from Heritage Covenant Academy, Franklin, TN in 1990, he went on to study at Volunteer State University. Justin worked with his dad in the hardwood floor business. He helped install the custom hardwood floors in his parent's present home. When he visited his parents with a new friend he always took them on a tour to show them his handiwork.

After his dad's retirement, he went into the transportation business driving Big Rig's. He enjoyed sharing about the many traveling adventures and all the states he had visited. He said he only had a few states left before he would have been in every state.

Justin loved to cook and make up his own recipes. He could make a salad look so attractive, it was difficult to dig in and mess up his creation. Justin spent his spare time studying car and motorcycle specs. He thoroughly enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson with his twin brother.

Justin was very pleased with his writing ability, especially the songs and poetry he wrote. His dad said he was a walking encyclopedia because he could quote so many different subjects correctly, including the New Testament of the Bible.

There will be a gathering of family and friends for Justin on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.
