One of the pioneers of Wyoming county, died Saturday morning, March 3, 1900 at his residence in Oatka, of paralysis, aged 82 years. He was living alone, his wife having died about 18 years ago. He was found at his barn Wednesday morning and Dr. Peddle of Perry summoned, who pronounced it a case of paralysis. Deceased remained in an unconscious condition until the end came. An honest upright, industrious farmer, his life was spent on the little farm he owned and occupied.
