James Edward Icke, age 77, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, in Auburn, Washington.

James was born Sept. 21, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Werner and Florence (Klein) Icke. He was a graduate of Fredericksburg High School in 1964 and joined the Air Force immediately after graduation. Having worked with Norman Dietel at the Radio Post after school, he developed an interest in photography.

James is survived by his sister, Betty Moellendorf, and one niece, Becky Mazurek, both of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by three nephews, Steven, Roger and Ronnie Icke.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ralph Icke and Vernon (Steve) Icke; nephew, Rickey Icke, and niece, Peggy Icke.

Additionally, he is survived by a dear friend, Rita Nery.

Graveside services with military honors and interment will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Washington.
