Lowell T Adkins, 66, of Culloden, Wva., passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at St Mary Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1939, a son of the late Elgust and Cassie Morrison Adkins. He was a faithful member of the Freewill Baptist Church and an electrical worker for IBEW 316. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Conrad Adkins and one sister, Oneida Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Alice Stowers Adkins, two sons, Ricky and his wife Angie Adkins of Hamlin, Wva and Lowell Adkins Jr of Culloden; three grandsons, Andrew Noah, Cody Reese and Austin Ricky Adkins; one brother Buddie and his wife Mary Adkins of Des Moines, Iowa; and one sister-in-law, Denise Finley of Charleston, Wva. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2006, at Handley Funeral Home Hamlin, Wv., with Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Goldsbury Cemetery, Sias. WVa. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
